Malvin Emeraldi, Sp.O.G., Subsp.F.E.R.(K), is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a subspecialty in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He has extensive experience in managing infertility, endometriosis, gynecologic laparoscopic surgery, and assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures.

He earned his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Sumatera Utara (FK USU) in 2002 and later obtained his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Indonesia (FKUI-RSCM) in 2008. He then pursued advanced training in minimally invasive surgery at RSUP Fatmawati (2010–2012) and completed his Consultant in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility program at FKUI-RSCM (2012–2015).

To continuously refine his expertise, dr. Malvin actively participates in international training programs, including clinical embryology training in Chennai, India (2011), an advanced laparoscopy course in Yogyakarta (2015), and various master classes on assisted reproductive technology (ART) in Vietnam and Thailand.

Since 2010, dr. Malvin has been providing infertility treatment and assisted reproductive technology services. He has pursued further international training in IVF procedures in Japan (2010) and Vietnam (2011), clinical embryology in India (2012), laparoscopic surgery in Germany (2012), as well as multiple master class workshops across Europe, the United States, and Asia.

His scientific contributions in the fields of infertility and laparoscopic surgery have gained international recognition. Some of his research, including a study on in vitro maturation (IVM) in PCOS patients, won the Best Presentation Award at the Malaysia Reproduction Congress (2013). He also received an award for his video presentation on laparoscopic hysterectomy techniques for endometriosis at the IGES National Congress in 2024.

Beyond his academic and research engagements, Dr. Malvin is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including PERFITRI, HIFERI, IGES, POGI, ASRM, ASPIRE, and ESHRE. His memberships reflect his dedication to continuously expanding his knowledge and skills in order to provide the highest quality care in fertility treatment and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery.
