Intra Uterine Insemination

Intra-Uterine Insemination has been used to treat infertile couples and is a treatment for husband factors such as severe hypospadias, poor ejaculation, neurological impotence, and sexual dysfunction. Artificial insemination has also been used to treat loligospermia, asthenospermia, low ejaculation volume, antisperm antibodies, and wife factors such as cervical factors.

Intrauterine insemination (IUI) has been widely used to treat infertility with various indications such as male factor infertility, unexplained infertility, cervical mucus disorders and ovulation disorders. For a successful pregnancy, IUI usually requires synchronization with natural ovulation or stimulation of the ovarian cycle. In addition, the sperm is separated or washed before it is inserted into the uterine cavity.
