Laparoscopy

Laparoscopy is a minimal surgical procedure that is generally intended to reduce the risks associated with major surgery. The healing process with laparoscopy is much faster than with major surgery.

In the case of laparoscopic obstetrics, using binoculars is inserted into a small 0.5-1 cm incision in the navel and lower abdomen. Through this access doctors can insert surgical instruments that are small in size but can do the same thing if this procedure is done through conventional surgery.

A wide variety of conditions can be treated by means of this modern surgery. Such as ovarian cysts, uterine fibroid, removal of the uterus (hysterectomy), removal of the appendix and gallbladder. This procedure can be performed safely and the surgical risk is relatively low. Because the recovery period is very fast, patients can go home in a short time.
