PRP Ovarium is a medical technology used in the field of gynecology to help improve the quality of eggs in women with fertility problems. This technology involves taking a blood sample from the patient and separating the platelet-rich plasma. The platelets contained in the plasma contain growth factors that can help stimulate the growth of egg cells. The procedure is performed with light anesthesia as in the case of egg retrieval/OPU.
After being separated, the platelet-rich growth factors are then injected back into the patient’s ovaries. This process aims to improve the quality of eggs and increase the chances of fertilization during ovulation.
